My Promise to You !

I, George D. “Boots” Weber promise to:

• Not personally solicit money.
• Not take contributions from Corporation, PACs or Unions.
• Not hold fund-raisers in which only contributors can attend.
• Not sell meeting time or photo ops.
• Not finance my campaign with a personal fortune.
• Use over a half-century of service and experience with this community instead of money to provide the reason for your support.

Most voters recognize that elected official raise large amounts of money for political campaigns. Many candidates use this money to carry out ridiculous ad campaigns. Do these candidates remember the big contributors when it is time to start governing? You answer that. Remember Enron? Or check out EWG.org reports and see where your tax money goes to influential farmers.

After reading my promises to you, help change the system. You have started with term limits. Now, elect a candidate who has proven himself by service to the community, state and the nation. Elect a man who leads by example. Elect George D. “Boots” Weber.
