As I study the new districts, I find that in 1965-66, I represented an area in West County that now has six or seven representative districts.

With an emphasis on parks, roads, highways, commercial development, schools, and the environment, I provided good service to my district.
For example:

  • Babler park was turned over to the state by a bill I introduced
  • A bridge was built south of Eureka on now Hwy. W
  • The Chrysler Plant was incorporated
  • Meramec Community College prospered
  • Lone Elk Park was established and I transported the original herd from Montana
  • Rockwood and Parkway School districts grew into the best in the state
  • The special school district was established

I had input in all these enhancements which we now take for granted. I can provide the same, if not better direct service to our district.
